Trading Life Cycle  Consultants (ZAN/019)

Working within global capital markets, investment banking and universal banking organisations assessing, designing and delivering, holistic or component architectures transforming underlying transaction and trading information into financial events and reporting. You'll be working alongside experts in this industry with prominent clients to deepen your product knowledge whilst broadening your core consulting skills. You will be working on large scale Trading system transformations with a variety of clients and gaining greater insights into leading trading architecture 

The role involves:

• Full project lifecycle for delivery  of significant projects and workstreams
• Working in development projects as well as vendor package implementations
• Working alongside client users, developers and analysts to deliver leading architectures across all functional areas
• Bringing your in-depth experience of key processes (e.g. pricing, trading, market risk, credit risk clearing, settlement, reference data) to provide insights to our clients' requirements
• Developing compelling and robust internal propositions and client facing proposals 

• Extensive experience in front-back office project management role for Medium/Top tier bank or consulting company
• Experience of broker-dealer and IDB environment
• In depth, expert understanding of at least one financial product: listed or OTC derivatives (e.g., FX, Equity, ETD, Fixed Income, Structured Products)
• Experience and knowledge for issuance and secondary market making for both institutional and retail markets
• Understanding of key processes - pricing, trading, market risk, credit risk, clearing, settlement, reference data
• In depth expert experience of at least one of - trading systems, order management systems, pricing systems, risk systems, exchange systems
• Understanding of STP requirements and processes for at least one product (e.g., Structured Derivatives - at least one of credit, fixed income, and/or equity)
• Understanding of architecture requirements for Trading, Risk, Pricing systems
• Experience and knowledge of technical architecture development methodologies and technique
• Familiarity with current industry trends and initiatives (e.g. Service Based Architecture)
• Understanding of messaging, transaction processing, high performance computing, market connectivity
• Understanding of a development and project management process
• Experience and/or knowledge of various 3rd party solutions (e.g. GL Trade, Nyfix, Calypso, Murex, I-deal, Cats-os, Sophis, J-risk (Application Networks)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technology ideas, concepts and issues to non-technical executives
• Experience in developing RFIs/evaluating and interacting with vendors
• Experience of leading and developing teams
