IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is looking for people to join its Technology Integration group as Consultants and Senior Consultants for roles in designing and implementing SAP NetWeaver based solutions. With a full range of top-to-bottom, complete solutions. IBM Global Business Services provides clients with business process and industry expertise, and the ability to translate that expertise into integrated, adaptive, on demand SAP solutions that deliver bottom-line business value.

The successful candidates will be able to:
• Work as part of a consulting team on client delivery projects designing and implementing SAP NetWeaver based solutions
• Establish credibility with clients and colleagues by demonstrating technical expertise
• Advise on use and deployment of SAP technologies in project environments
• Propose technical solutions to meet business requirements
• Design and implement technology solutions
• Produce work of a high quality standard
• Operate under pressure and deliver to agreed milestones
• Work with limited supervision keeping leadership appraised of project status in a timely manner raising issues and risks when required
• Resolve issues and solve problems
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with client staff
• Communicate effectively in English, verbally, through presentations and in written documents

Candidates should be experienced SAP practitioners with in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
• SAP landscape design, management and operations
• WAS system administration
• NetWeaver Portal configuration and administration
• Portal technical architecture and infrastructure
• Design and development of Portal applications with experience of technologies such as Web Dynpro, CE and NWDI

More senior candidates will have experience in team leading or in designing complex technical solutions. Ideally experience will have been gained in a consulting, technical architecture or hands-on role on one or more implementation projects, though candidates with especially desirable skills who have gained experience in support environments will also be considered. Candidates must have experience of working in client-facing environments, or have the knowledge and interpersonal skills to demonstrate potential to do so. Applicants must be prepared to be flexible in terms of working environment, role and project location.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
SAP Netweaver based solutions: minimum 2 complete SAP project life cycles experience : Mastered
EU Citizen or current UK Workpermit holder : Mastered
English: Fluent
