Our Procurement practice is seeking to attract highly experienced Procurement leads and consultants to work within our teams serving high profile clients.
Preferred candidates will have at least 6 years public sector procurement experience gained over a number of programmes spanning: commercial strategy creation, OJEU procedures, commercial negotiations and Gateway / NAO and HMT reviews. It would be advantageous if candidates have a current security clearance, as well as knowledge of a second European language.
Typical programmes provide procurement policy and competition delivery at values of £10-100m for mission critical deliverables often involving complexity and technology across all areas of the public sector and government space. We are looking to make hires at all levels of experience and capabilities with a particular focus on senior level procurement professionals.
Experience of the following is preferred:
Working successfully to support senior Civil Service grades and ministers, including special advisors in major / sensitive / complex / high spend government procurements
Procurement and supply chain strategy- encompassing product lifecycle and category management
Running OJEU procedures including Competitive Dialogue
VFM delivery and outcome-based procurement
Contract re-lets, commercial negotiation and support to service reviews
Success in delivery to the individual including experience in countering social and economic exclusion
Experience of working with pan-European institutions including the Commission
