Interesting assignment for an Interim Programme Manager who is able to combine good project management skills with experience of running stock, supply chain and commercials i.e. pricing, re-charges etc along side this. The client who is serviced based and supplies small handheld machines for transaction processing is looking for a Programme Manager who is able to manage the end to end process of asset management for approximately 200,000 pieces of equipment. The role initially takes responsibility for an audit of the asset estate then managing the different projects that will be identified by the audit e.g. pricing & charging structures, product quality and warranty, setting policy and service levels. There will also be a need to ensure adequate processes and controls are in place for obsolete stock, stock controls and management, issuing of new stock and adequate records for management information. The successful candidate could come from a number of different backgrounds i.e. mobile telecoms, where a product is supplied to retailers, credit card companies supplying merchants with hand held terminals or any organisation where equipment is loaned / leased for business / transaction purposes.
