IT MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS

PA's IT Management & Operations practice is the centre of excellence for driving step-change improvements in IT delivery.  Whether this is achieved by implementing major strategic change through groundbreaking outsourcing, instilling customer focus and service management disciplines into in-house IT departments or conducting major IT change programmes, IT Management & Operations has the breadth and depth of skills and capability that make our clients succeed. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

We are seeking to strengthen our team at Principal Consultant level.  As part of the IT Management & Operations practice, you will work directly with clients on a wide range of assignments.  You will demonstrate initiative, drive and willingness to do whatever it takes to help our client succeed.  Although consultancy experience will be valuable, we are also interested in candidates with relevant experience from industry.

You are likely to have experience in one or more of the following areas:

·          managing IT departments

·          transforming IT functions

·          managing major sourcing programmes

·          benchmarking

·          developing and improving supplier relationships

·          reviewing and improving sourcing relationships

·          managing 2^nd and 3^rd generation sourcing projects

·          managing supplier services / functions

·          improving IT project performance

·          assuring IT delivery

Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be willing to travel on business.  In the majority of cases, assignments will be in the UK but opportunities do exist to work on foreign assignments.
