Wavex has an exciting opportunity for a bright and motivated individual to join a fast growing and dynamic IT services company based in Central London. The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for delivering sales of IT managed service contracts, individual and rolling IT projects and IT consultancy to mid-market and SME clients. This is a broad role for a talented ambitious Solutions Consultant or Business Development Manager looking for a key position within the sales and business development functions of the Company.

Responsibilities
· Delivering sales of IT managed service contracts, individual and rolling IT projects and IT consultancy to mid-market and SME clients.
· Spectrum of business development capability from lead engagement, new business presentations, proposal development through to contract closings, interfacing with technical staff within Wavex, and finalising solution design.
· Capability of quickly gaining a high degree of company, technical and services knowledge.
· Facilitating comprehensive sales meetings with prospective clients ranging from smaller firms to medium sized corporates which requires a sufficient level of technical knowledge of core IT infrastructure solutions.
· Meeting measurable targets through balancing the long term strategic interests of the business and the need for active revenue growth.
· Develop and build on his/her already strong communication and presentation skills and become comfortable liaising with clients and presenting to senior management
Personal specification
You have:
· Experience as an IT Solutions Consultant, Business Development Manager or Pre-Sales Consultant who may come from a leading IT consultancy, a managed services provider or even from the advisory team of a "Big 4" infrastructure consultancy team.
· A good degree and demonstrable skills and a track record in the sale and solution development of technology related services (not products) to emerging corporates and larger SME's.
· Familiarity with technologies such as core Microsoft technologies, virtualisation and Citrix would be a significant advantage. The candidate must demonstrate previous commercial knowledge of these technologies as part of his/her role.
· An understanding of our marketplace and the ability to empathise with our client base which is key to success in this role.

The salary package will depend on the skills and experience of the successful candidate, the package includes a basic salary of £40,000 per annum plus significant bonuses and benefits dependent on experience. Bonus targets and commissions will be set in agreement accordingly. The total package value will range from £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on success.
