They have an established dedicated health team who are looking for an experienced health consultant / operational manager to increase their market capacity and capabilities. Strong consulting skills and experience matched with practical health industry knowledge is essential.
This role intends to further develop our clients operational performance development, service transformation and redesign, while taking into consideration accounts with the NHS and any other changes healthcare may experience in the future. The role will join a team focused on developing business in the local NHS market, compromising SHAs, Trusts and PCTs and will primarily be delivery focused.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
-Relationship development at senior levels of the Health Service to inform solutions and to leverage sales-Support the development of propositions in the operational health arena, and providing the operational expertise into other propositions being developed within the health team-Work as part of a team on transformation projects and undertake the role of engagement manager on smaller delivery assignments, managing resources within the agreed budget to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations-Present seminars and produce white papers on issues relevant to the NHS finance community, at events run by HFMA, NHS Confederation and other trade bodies

Qualifications:
A degree or equivalent, along with experience within NHS operational management is essential. Our client expects existing NHS relationships at the senior level and experience of leading teams in either consulting or project environments from candidates.
