Our client is a recognised consultancy firm who is looking to further expand their market share within areas across the NHS. They are looking for a Senior/Executive Consultant who will be able to improve the companies commissioning work through the development of innovative solutions, with the use of commercial methodologies. They want to further develop their NHS business, expand services to PCTs and include focuses on SHA’s.
The key responsibilities are:- To boost sales and inform solution development through relationship development at a senior level in the local NHS.- To hit target revenues by providing expertise in the Health Commissioning area.- Work as part of a team on transformation projects and undertake the role of engagement manager on smaller delivery assignments, managing resources within the agreed budget to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations.- To Present seminars and produce white papers to relevant events on issues relevant to the NHS Commissioning agenda.- Develop an understanding of the broader solutions that our client faces and identify opportunities to develop them.
To be considered you must have a detailed understanding of the issues that PCT commissioners face, but also issues in the wider NHS market. It is essential you have strong consulting capabilities and experience, and in turn have the ability to utilise your Commissioning experience to add value to the business, meet client expectations and deliver projects on budget. Effective communication and support, in the form of advice and commissioning expertise, is expected towards the Health and project teams.
Qualifications:It is essential candidates have an MBA or equivalent, and detailed knowledge of NHS commissioning issues. You are expected to have a strong contact network within the NHS CEO, finance and commissioning arena and be able to demonstrate clearly your experiences in developing solutions within the NHS.
