Data Architecture Consultants (ZAN/021) Working with global capital markets, investment banking and universal banking organisations assessing, designing and delivering leading process and technology solutions, for improving the quality of information. You'll be working alongside experts in this industry with prominent clients to deepen your product knowledge whilst broadening your core consulting skills. You will be working on large-scale transformation programmes, particularly in Finance, Risk and Operations with a variety of clients and gaining greater insights into leading data management techniques. The role involves:

Design of data models and architectures in global banks with particular focus on wholesale banking and capital markets (although an appreciation of the differences for retail and consumer banking and addressing cross-product requirements will be required)

· Designing business operating models for data management data quality improvement and data governance· Leading our development of intellectual capital in data management, including reference and master data management· Directing overall programme planning and design for data management designs and implementation· Developing and stimulating our people in the technical and practical aspects of data architecture developing and supporting their career development more broadly· Managing teams to address individual components, plan execution and deliver designs for improved data quality that incorporate process, data and technology components in an integrate solution· Reviewing and releasing data deliverables and documentation· Managing engagements to plan and budget· Identifying issues and risks and communicating progress with client stakeholders.· Facilitating workshops to identify business requirements and/or target business processes and iterate data model, control process and architectural decisionsWe are looking for exceptional candidates with:· Outstanding core data management design and iteration skills including both the technical skills and experience to develop practical solutions as well as the ability to engage with senior clients and stakeholders to progress decisions and agree designs.· Experience in designing and implementing reference and master data management solutions, gained in a capital markets environment (either working for an institution or a consultancy firm)· Experience in designing and implementing improved Data governance (business and architecture) in global banks· Strong financial product knowledge (including cash and derivative instruments).· Specific knowledge of vendor and bespoke solutions for each component of data architecture from acquisition to presentation, particularly regarding reference data, master data and hierarchies· Familiarity with the relative design and implementation merits of using industry standard reference models for information assets including, but not limited, to IBM Financial Institutions Warehouse Model and Terradata Financial Services Logical Data Model· Experience in data architecture as it pertains to risk, finance, and operations· Experience of leading and developing teams Location: UK / National Respond to: info@zanderassociates.co.uk or call 0203 176 0870
