Leading a project team in delivering customer solutions, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of managing scope, cost, schedule and contractual deliverables which also includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control and risk management. Managing all project resources such as subcontractors, you’ll establish an effective communication plan with both the project team and customer and provide day-to-day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client. Applicants will have a strong IT background with hands on roles across the life cycle of IT delivery and now in leadership roles on large programme. They can operate in the sell & deliver space, shaping the deals as well as leading the delivery in a consulting context. They will be Partner-tracked individuals of very high calibre.  

To join us, along with a Bachelor’s Degree, outstanding client, communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong IT background, you should also have experience in Strategic planning, project management, system integration, managing stakeholder relationships, and in managing project finances, risk, and resources. It is also necessary to have demonstrable evidence of engagement and project experience in terms of size of budget, nature and complexity of technical solution, the nature of deliverables, and the extent and nature of your interaction with the project client. 

Mandatory Skills:
• In depth background and considerable experience in bespoke systems design, development and implementation
• Suitable direct experience of delivery management roles on formal projects / programmes with personal accountability for budgets, timescales and resources typically in the ranges of £6m-£40m+, 9-18 months duration, 20-50+ full-time staff
• Experience of managing large and complex combined consulting and systems integration projects / programmes
• Experience of communication to and interaction with senior client staff, typically including clients operating at board level
• Experience in all project lifecycle phases (e.g. strategy, business case, contracting, mobilisation, requirements gathering, design, build, test, implementation, transition to support)
• Consistent usage of formal project management methods, tools & techniques• Experience of multi-site programmes and projects
• Experience of managing 3rd parties. Personal Skills:
• Proven background in delivering for clients providing consistent, high quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations
•Strong team working skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding client, people management, coaching and leadership skills• Well developed approach to problem solving and decision making
• Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines.  

Please note: Systems integration experience will not be limited to repeat implementations of package based solutions e.g. Siebel, SAP, ERP etc. Infrastructure build and software upgrade projects are not relevant to the role. Experience of managing projects that include significant use of integration technologies will be highly regarded
