Capital Markets Technology Consultants

We are looking for exceptional capital markets technology consultants. I am searching for individuals who are in the top 5% of their chosen profession to join a “Top 4” Global Consultancy here in the UK. (You will have heard of them) 

 

With offices in over 140 countries, in excess of 100,000 employees and a turnover in the 20+ Billion USD range, our client can truly be viewed as a 'leader in their field'     With the backing of their Global parent they are building an IT advisory service. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the ground level and help to build and to shape what will become the industries leading IT Advisory service.

 

Currently they are looking for exceptional Senior IT Capital Markets professionals with experience in Treasury IT, Liquidity, Accounting IT and knowledge across all asset classes. Whilst focusing on Middle and Back office, candidates should however have an element of “fungbility and flexibility”.

 

The successful candidates will have proven experience of designing and delivering the IT solution that solves tier 1 organisations’ challenges. An appreciation for the strategies and approaches at different tier 1 investment banks and investment managers will differentiate the best candidates.

 

Intellectual firepower (at least a 2:1 from a leading university), superior consulting skills, product knowledge, deep technology skills, energy, enthusiasm and integrity are essential for these roles.

 

Senior Manager Roles

 

At senior manager level, practitioners are expert deliverers and will spend between 50% and 75% of their time on client site leading engagements.

 

A typical engagement team will be drawn from across the breadth of service lines, so the successful candidates will need to be comfortable managing and/or challenging those from different backgrounds with different skill sets.  The remaining time is typically spent developing the business, building relationships and leading pursuits. A strong network of senior “change-the-bank” budget holders is essential. The ability to build a strong internal cross-service line network is critical.

 

Manager role

 

Managers are delivery focused; we look for business development aptitude as part of assessing long term career potential, however the immediate focus on joining will be the delivery of excellent client-side advisory engagements.
