BST, EMEA is the International division of a pioneering global performance improvement consulting firm specialising in safety within the oil, gas, chemicals, construction and heavy manufacturing environments. Growing at pace it now seeks an exceptional results-driven Account Manager to build the brand and spearhead its drive into new markets.
Reporting to the Consultant Group Manager,
the successful candidate will be responsible for scoping and delivering cross-functional performance improvement, process re-engineering and safety management programmes for customers. Projects normally involve evaluating organisational issues, advising senior clients, implementing consistent performance improvement systems and working with teams in client organisations.
The incumbent will also be expected to contribute to product development and company best practice and enhance the opportunities for new and incremental business by nurturing strong client relationships.
Intellectually agile and commercially astute, candidates will ideally have had a career in either line management within the oil, gas, chemical, construction and heavy manufacturing environments or in performance improvement, HR or coaching consultancy and possibly some time in safety management.
They should have a proven track record of managing work streams spanning interlocking projects seamlessly and will be distinguished by their articulacy and confidence inspiring expertise. International in outlook and a consummate networker, the appointee will be fluent in English and at least one of the following: Dutch, French, German or a Scandinavian language.
He/she should also be prepared to travel extensively.

- Experience working in or with manufacturing industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding training skills
- Flexibility to travel very extensively while based out of your home office
- Fluency in at least two European languages

Consultants are assigned to projects based on availability, individual experience and capability, familiarity with the client company or industry, and geography.
We offer a competitive day rate based on your experience, and a stimulating, rewarding work environment. Our selection process for Contractors is comprehensive, providing information for both the Contractor and BST to make a more informed decision. Turnover rate is very low which we attribute to our hiring process and company culture. Extensive travel is required - on average, Consultants spend 12 – 16 nights away from home each month, travelling to client sites throughout the EMEA region.
